HOW DO WE KNOW.

How do we know if we care?

You know, when you see an insect on the ground and you walk around

How do we know if we are bored?

You know, if you peel a mushroom or count the bristles on a broom

How do we know if we are just down?

We know, when we get up and go to town

How do we know if we are depressed?

You know, when you stay in bed and don't get dressed

How do we know if something is on our mind?

We know, when we sit quietly, contemplate and evaluate

How do we know when to make the right decision?

We know, when all avenues have been explored,

All things have been rectified, you are satisfied,

And you have recognised, a peaceful accord

How do you know when you are happy?

You know, when you are uplifted,

Your inner sparkle shines through,

With fun and laughter too!

How do we know we can we find these things?

You know how,pick yourself up from the gloom

Don't turn your home into a tomb

Don't go back to mushrooms and the broom

Work through, for at least one joyous day

For you know, it is the only way!
